According to our findings of objectively measured physical activity levels, individuals receiving were most physically active during OT but more sedentary nonrehabilitation times and days. Objectively measured physical activity level and sedentary behavior in Norwegian children during a week in preschool☆
Although many studies have reported on physical activity (PA) levels using accelerometers, a thorough description of the PA pattern in preschool children during their stay in the preschool, is lacking in the current literature. Furthermore, there remains a lack of understanding of the PA level and pattern in children in the lower end of the PA continuum. The first aim of this study was therefor...

Few studies have investigated the psychosocial correlates of objectively measured PA in preadolescents. This study examined child attitudes and parental behaviours as correlates of children's activity. METHODS In total, 278 children (138 boys and 140 girls) a...
متن کاملChange in objectively measured physical activity during the transition to adolescence
BACKGROUND Physical activity (PA) declines during adolescence but change in different PA intensities across population subgroups is rarely explored. We describe change in sedentary (SED) time, light (LPA), moderate (MPA) and vigorous PA (VPA) assessed at three time points over 4 years. METHODS Accelerometer-assessed PA (min) was obtained at baseline (N=2064), 1 and 4 years later among British...
